2010 Syrah
These bottles contain the second vintage produced off of our estate vineyard in the rocks! The intent from start to finish was to let the vineyard’s personality and qualities come through in the glass. We are thrilled with the result and look forward to seeing how this estate Syrah evolves from year to year.
2009 Syrah
These bottles contain the first wine ever produced off of our estate vineyard in the rocks! We co-fermented our Syrah with 3% Viognier (a common blending practice in Northern Rhone) for elegance and added aromatics, and we aged the wine in neutral oak for 18 months prior to bottling. The intent from start to finish was to let the vineyard’s personality and qualities come through in the glass. We are thrilled with the result and look forward to seeing how this estate Syrah evolves from year to year. We’re only releasing 30 cases of this “first edition”…it won’t last long.
2010 Rosé
The 2010 growing season was bit cooler than normal, which set us up nicely to make a world class Rose’. We picked one lot of our estate Syrah earlier than normal and later added a 25% allocation of Viognier (also off a vineyard in the rocks) to balance out coloring, acid and the mouth feel of the wine.
