The 2012 Syrah Estate is totally gorgeous, and certainly rivals the stunning 2010. Giving up notions of lavender, black pepper, bacon fat, plum, and wild herbs, this beauty is full-bodied, thrillingly pure, fresh and elegant on the palate, with integrated acidity, fabulous length and no hard edges. Possibly with some upside, it can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade or longer.
